- GRT Hotels concludes Leadership Conclave.
- Company unveils roadmap toward Vision 2038 plan.
- AI, digital transformation were core agenda items.
G.R. Anand Ananthapadmanabhan, GRT Group managing director; T. Nataraajan, GRT Hotels’ deputy managing director; and Vikram Cotah, GRT Hotels’ CEO, opened the conclave with addresses on the company's future plans.
“As the hospitality landscape evolves, we are actively embracing digital transformation and artificial intelligence to drive commercial growth and maximize operational intelligence,” said Cotah. “However, our greatest anchor will always be our people.”
Much of the conversation over the two days touched on technology, particularly how digital tools and artificial intelligence can be applied to commercial growth, revenue management and day-to-day operations without losing the human element that drives guest experience. Sessions drew on external industry expertise alongside internal discussions, mixing perspectives on where hospitality is heading with what GRT specifically needs to build or change.
One portion of the conclave was set aside to recognize performance within the organization. Hotels and individuals were acknowledged for results across service quality, audit scores and RevPAR. The conclave also included a segment recognizing employees from across different functions.
GRT recently announced plans to add eight hotels across South India, targeting tier-2 and tier-3 markets, spiritual tourism circuits and hill stations.
