The 3-acre property will be in Ramnagar, the gateway to Jim Corbett National Park. It will cater to leisure travelers, with road access to key North Indian cities and year-round demand from Jim Corbett’s wildlife and leisure attractions, IHG Hotels & Resorts said in a statement.
“Globally, Garner has scaled quickly, and in India we are seeing growing interest from owners and a developing pipeline," said Sudeep Jain, IHG’s managing director for Southwest Asia.
Parveen Saraswat, Victorian Corp. director, said Jim Corbett is developing as a year-round wildlife and leisure destination, with demand for quality accommodation continuing to grow.
The signing takes Garner’s India pipeline to six hotels. Globally, the brand has reached 100 open hotels since its 2023 launch, the statement said.
