- It offers 11,000 square feet of event space.
The hotel, which opened in 2020 as Quirk Hotel Charlottesville, features 11,000 square feet of meeting and event space, several F&B concepts and a rooftop terrace, Walker & Dunlop said in a statement.
It is near the University of Virginia, UVA Health, the Downtown Mall and art venues, with wineries in the surrounding area.
Ross is based in Atlanta and led by Francis “Butch” Ross, while Buckhead is based in Smyrna and led by CEO Dipan Patel.
The transaction was led by W&D’s senior directors Carter Gradwell and Katy Reynolds, senior managing director and co-head of Hospitality Advisory Jay Morrow and associate director Joey Gilbert.
“The Doyle represents a truly differentiated luxury lifestyle offering, distinguished by exceptional design, an irreplaceable downtown location and a collection of experiential food-and-beverage concepts,” said Gradwell.
The hotel is a newly built independent property with flexibility in branding and operations in Charlottesville’s lodging market, the statement said.
