AURO HOTELS RECENTLY opened the India Cultural Corner at The Children's Museum of the Upstate in Greenville, South Carolina, offering a look into Indian stories for American families. The exhibition, held at The Grand Geo Hotel and running through May 2026, includes a hotel desk where children can check in and explore Indian culture through interactive activities.

Visitors can also explore an Indian market and engage with artwork by local artist Nehal Patel while learning about Indian traditions, AURO said in a statement.

"This partnership represents what our industry does best: creating connections between people and places," said D.J. Rama, Auro’s president and CEO. "We're proud to help bring the culture of India—specifically our home city of Surat—to young learners in South Carolina. Through this exhibit, we're encouraging the next generation to understand the global community we all share."

The Cultural Corner rotates annually, the statement said. The year-long sponsorship presents Indian heritage to visiting families and offers hands-on experiences for early and elementary learners. Families can explore community-created art, activities and storytelling based on daily life in India.

The event shows how Indian American hospitality leaders, who own nearly 60 percent of U.S. hotels, are using their heritage to build community connections, the statement said.

"The response has been strong," said Lauren Luneckas, CEO of TCMU. "Children are curious about the world and this exhibit gives them a passport to explore language, food, music and family traditions."

The partnership goes beyond hospitality marketing for Auro Hotels. It shows how hotel operators can engage with communities while acknowledging cultural diversity in American hospitality.

The India Cultural Corner will remain open through May 2026, providing opportunities for families to experience Indian culture through interactive learning.

In July, Auro Hotels launched a $2 million Rama Legacy Scholarship endowment for employees' children, with several students receiving support in the first year.
