Prominence Hospitality will manage the dual properties

Peoria’s Marriott Hotels Get Multimillion-Dollar Upgrade

AGRANI VENTURES AND Prominence Consulting recently acquired two Marriott International-branded hotels, Courtyard and Residence Inn Peoria, in Peoria, Illinois, with multimillion-dollar renovations planned. Prominence Hospitality will manage the dual properties.

Agrani Ventures is led by partners Ajay Barot and Parin Patel, while Rana Rehan Zaid leads Prominence as investor and managing principal.


“This acquisition is a key milestone for Agrani Ventures as we continue expanding our hospitality portfolio,” Barot and Patel said. “We see strong potential in Peoria and are committed to building long-term strategic investments that enhance the region’s hospitality landscape.”

Rehan Zaid said the investment underscores confidence in Peoria’s market and these properties’ future.

“Through our partnership with Agrani Ventures, we are committed to operational excellence and delivering a high-quality hospitality experience that enhances guest satisfaction and long-term value,” he said.

“With our experienced management team and planned renovations, these properties will be elevated to meet the highest hospitality standards,” said Dhaval Brahmbhatt, Prominence Hospitality’s principal. “We are excited to oversee their transformation and deliver a seamless experience for guests while driving performance for our partners.”

U.S.-based investment firm Gencom recently acquired The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans and Courtyard New Orleans French Quarter/Iberville, a 758-key, two-hotel portfolio in the French Quarter.
