Laplante is G6 Hospitality’s chief information officer

John Laplante

John Laplante is G6 Hospitality’s new chief information officer. Previously he was vice president of information technology in the company’s program management office and contact center operations.

Laplante also served the Motel 6 IT team for 18 years and at one time led  the IT PMO and Quality Assurance teams. He  worked for Infusion Management Systems, Cingular Wireless and Accor North America, the prior owner of the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas. Laplante currently sits on the University of North Texas, Hospitality and Tourism Advisory Board.

In early May, G6 Hospitality implemented its Clean@6 cleaning and safety program.
