- India hotels see strong wedding bookings.
- Roseate Delhi books November and February.
- Bookings reach November 2027.
Noor Mahal Delhi NCR Karnal saw wedding business grow about 15 percent from last year, according to PTI. Weddings make up about 60 percent of the hotel’s business, with many 2027 bookings already confirmed and inquiries for Nov. 2027.
“We are seeing 15 percent growth in the wedding segment over last year, with a more diverse customer base,” said Roop Partap Choudhary, Noor Mahal executive director. “Perhaps the most significant development is the widening of the booking window, increasingly reflecting the planning patterns of established international destination wedding markets.”
The trend is visible at other properties too. Roseate Hotels & Resorts reported strong demand for winter weddings at its Delhi resort.
Kush Kapoor, Roseate Hotels CEO, said the resort was almost fully booked for November and February weddings.
The India destination wedding market grew from $4.3 billion in 2025 to $5.5 billion in 2026, according to IMARC. It expects the market to reach $26.6 billion by 2034, with a 21.87 percent CAGR from 2026 to 2034, driven by higher spending, social media and demand for personalized weddings.
The market is seeing more themed weddings, international destinations and multi-day celebrations. Couples are choosing customized themes, overseas venues and three- to five-day celebrations, giving hotels more opportunities to earn from rooms, food, events and longer stays.
PRISM’s Weddingz recently announced plans to expand its company-serviced banquet network from 25 to 50 venues. The expansion will target key markets including Gurugram, Kolkata, Jaipur, Ghaziabad, Patna and Mumbai.
