Kevin Viteri is Thind Management’s vice president of hospitality operations. He works with ownership, asset management and property leaders to drive operations, revenue, financial performance and guest experience while supporting the company’s growth.
Before joining Thind, Viteri served as general manager of the 300-room Hilton Garden Inn/Home2 Suites by Hilton Houston Medical Center, which opened in 2021, Thind said in a statement. He led the property from pre-opening through opening, stabilization and ongoing operations.
Previously, Viteri also served as general manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands at Hughes Landing. Earlier in his career, he served as general manager of Hilton Garden Inn Houston and as area GM, overseeing Hilton Garden Inn and Hyatt Place in The Woodlands and a SpringHill Suites property in the Houston market.
“Kevin has spent his career not only operating hotels but making them perform at a high level,” said Supreet Singh, Thind president. “He understands every aspect of the business, from opening and repositioning properties to revenue strategy, guest satisfaction and team development. That combination of strategic oversight and operational experience makes him an important part of Thind’s growth.”
Thind, based in Spring, Texas, is led by CEO Surinder Singh and Surpreet Singh.
Viteri began his hospitality career in front office and rooms operations, gaining experience across hotel operations, the statement said. He has led hotel openings, renovations, property conversions and turnarounds, with experience in revenue management, sales, service, operations and market positioning.
Viteri said hospitality operations come down to performance, people and guest experience, and all three must work together.
“Thind has built a strong platform with an entrepreneurial approach to development and operations, and I’m excited to work with our property leaders to strengthen performance across the portfolio while supporting the company’s next phase of growth,” he said.
