STONEBRIDGE COS. ADDED the 270-key DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Cherry Creek in Denver to its managed portfolio. The property is in Denver’s Cherry Creek submarket, about one mile from Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
It is also near the University of Denver, the Colorado Convention Center, Coors Field, downtown Denver and several hospitals, Stonebridge said in a statement. It has an outdoor pool, fitness center and more than 6,000 square feet of meeting space.
“DoubleTree Denver Cherry Creek is a strong, full-service asset in a demand-diverse submarket we know exceptionally well,” said Rob Smith, Stonebridge’s CEO. “Its combination of location, meeting space and operational flexibility positions the hotel to perform across multiple demand segments. We look forward to partnering with ownership to enhance operations, strengthen market positioning and drive long-term value.”
Denver-based Stonebridge, founded by Navin Dimond, is led by Smith. The company recently added the 335-key Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe Houston in Montgomery, Texas. In December, it named Orkun Aydin senior vice president of operations.
