ROYAL ORCHID & REGENTA Hotels and Mokkshi Hospitality & Services are developing the 43-key Regenta Place Udaipur in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The hotel at Nakoda Nagar is expected to open by March 2026.
The hotel will include a 7,000-square-foot indoor banquet hall and a 30,000-square-foot lawn, according to Royal Orchid. It will operate under a management agreement.
“Udaipur remains a high-potential market for leisure and destination weddings,” said Chander Baljee, chairman and managing director of ROHL, according to The Economic Times. “The signing of Regenta Place Udaipur strengthens our portfolio in Rajasthan and reflects our focus on strategically located properties with strong social and events-led demand.”
Mokkshi is owned by Amit Jain. Jain said they are partnering with Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels for Regenta Place Udaipur.
“Their brand strength and operational expertise give us confidence in creating a hospitality destination that caters to leisure travelers and events,” he said.
The company recently signed Regenta Suites and Residences in Jodhpur and Jaipur, Rajasthan. The Jodhpur property is scheduled to open by December 2029, while the Jaipur property is expected to open by April.
