My Place Hotel—Jonesboro is now open in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The four-story, 63-room hotel, the brand’s second in the state, is owned by Mataji LLC.
The hotel is near Arkansas State University, St. Bernards Medical Center, NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital, and industrial and manufacturing facilities, My Place Hotels’ said in a statement. It serves business travelers, healthcare workers, construction crews and university visitors.
“Jonesboro represents the kind of high-demand market where My Place continues to grow,” said Ryan Rivett, My Place Hotels’ co-founder and chief executive officer. “With strong activity across healthcare, education and industrial work, Jonesboro is a great fit for our extended-stay model. We’re excited to expand our presence in Arkansas and the Southeast and bring a reliable, modern extended-stay option to travelers looking for comfort and convenience.”
My Place, an extended-stay hotel franchisor based in Aberdeen, South Dakota, operates in 31 states with more than 120 hotels in development, the statement said. Mataji LLC, a family-owned hospitality company, has more than 40 years of experience in hotel ownership, operations and asset management and develops properties in markets with sustained demand.
The Richardson Design Partnership, LLC designed the hotel to My Place Hotels’ standard prototype, the statement said. It includes My Store, a 24/7 grab-and-go market and EV charging stations for travelers.
