AURO HOTELS RECENTLY received the Marriott Partnership Circle Award, which Marriott International presents to select owner and franchise partners. Greenville, South Carolina–based Auro, led by President and CEO D.J. Rama, is now inducted into the Partnership Circle Hall of Fame.

Marriott selects inductees based on engagement in brand strategies and guest satisfaction results, Auro said in a statement. Recipients are recognized as business partners who advance Marriott’s vision and improve the guest experience across their portfolios.

“This achievement reflects the everyday efforts of our Marriott-brand associates across all Auro properties,” Rama said. “Their hospitality, consistency and dedication on the front lines make honors like this possible.”

DJ Rama and Keval Rama accepted the award in November at the Marriott International North America Conference in Maui. Auro currently operates 28 Marriott-branded hotels in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida and India, according to its website.

Founded in 1973, Auro owns 38 properties and operates over 6,500 guestrooms in the U.S. and India under Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Hotels Corp.

Auro recently completed a multi-phase renovation of Residence Inn Buckhead Lenox Park in Atlanta’s Buckhead suburb.
