MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL CONTRACTED The Coca-Cola Co. to supply carbonated soft drinks, hydration beverages and functional beverages across its portfolio. The rollout begins immediately and continues over the coming months.
Coca-Cola brands will start appearing in guestrooms, restaurants, lounges and meeting and event spaces, the companies said in a statement.
"We are focused on delivering the products our guests and Marriott Bonvoy Members know and love, better meeting guest preferences and creating economic benefits for owners and franchise operators across our system," said Anthony Capuano, Marriott's president and CEO. "We're excited to collaborate with The Coca-Cola Company to deliver their products in more places."
Henrique Braun, Coca-Cola CEO, said the agreement will expand access to the company's beverage portfolio for Marriott guests worldwide.
"On behalf of the entire Coca-Cola system, we're excited about our future with Marriott and the opportunity to provide travelers more of the brands they love," he said. "From sparkling beverages to juices, hydration and dairy, we're offering guests options throughout their stay."
The agreement was developed with Hot Shoppes Services, Marriott's procurement organization, which supported the partnership and sought to create value for owners and operators, the statement said.
Separately, Marriott is working with Fitwel to expand wellness offerings across its branded residences. The initiative aligns with the company's focus on residential experiences through design, amenities and wellbeing.
