Magnuson Hotel Little Rock South in Little Rock, Arkansas, is now open. It’s owned by Mahesh Patel.

The 90-room hotel is a former Choice Hotel close to Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, University of Arkansas Little Rock, River Market, Little Rock Convention Center, William J. Clinton Library, the Museum of Discovery and the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum.


Amenities include refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms.

Magnuson Hotels is headquartered in London and Spokane, Washington, and has more than 65,000 hotels and 700 airlines on its booking platform www.magnusonhotels.com. In 2017 Magnuson entered a reciprocal distribution agreement with Louvre Hotels Group of France and Jin Jiang Hotels of China.

Choice Hotels International reported third-quarter net income of $180 million, up from $105.7 million a year earlier, driven by international business growth. Global RevPAR rose 0.2 percent year over year, with 9.5 percent growth internationally offsetting a 3.2 percent decline in U.S. RevPAR.

The U.S. decline was due to weaker government and international inbound demand, Choice said. The company lowered its full-year U.S. RevPAR forecast to -2 to -3 percent, from the previous 0 to -3 percent.
