Actabl introduced a free platform to help hoteliers make performance-driven decisions with real-time benchmarks and planning tools.

Summary:

  • Actabl launched HotelData.com, a free platform offering real-time insights for hotel owners, operators and investors.
  • The site provides benchmarks and planning tools based on data from thousands of U.S. hotels to support budgeting and operational decisions.
  • Its first report, the 2025–2026 Budget Planning Guide, delivers analysis on labor costs, revenue performance and profit margins.

HOSPITALITY SOFTWARE FIRM Actabl recently launched HotelData.com, a website to help hoteliers make decisions backed by data. The website is designed to provide hoteliers with benchmarks based on performance data and practical planning tools powered by Actabl’s proprietary hospitality data.

The platform supports decision-making across both operational and financial aspects of the hotel industry, functioning as a free data resource hub, Actabl said in a statement.

“Hotel leaders often rely on guesswork or outdated benchmarks when planning. HotelData.com changes that,” said Sarah McCay Tams, Actabl’s head of editorial. “Using Actabl’s aggregated hotel data, it provides a snapshot of actual market performance, giving hoteliers clear and timely insights they can trust to build budgets, optimize staffing, validate investments and navigate an increasingly complex market with confidence.”

It offers unbiased, market-based insights drawn from real hotel performance data, the statement said. This marks a shift away from traditional planning processes that rely on historical performance or internal guesswork.

The findings are based on data from thousands of hotels operating in the U.S.

The inaugural report on HotelData.com was the 2025–2026 Budget Planning Guide, which delivers insights on labor costs, revenue performance and profit margins to help hotel owners, operators and investors build data-driven budgets for the year ahead.

Last year, Actabl released a similar tool, “Alice Housekeeping Refresh” to address fluctuations in housekeeping staff availability.

  • Five countries face full bans, 15 partial and Palestinian Authority travel is blocked.
  • The administration did not say when the measures take effect.

U.S. PRESIDENT DONALD Trump signed a proclamation expanding U.S. travel restrictions to 20 additional countries and the Palestinian Authority, further limiting who can visit or immigrate to the U.S. Five countries are under a full travel ban, 15 face partial restrictions and travel using Palestinian Authority-issued documents is fully restricted.

The White House said the decision is part of efforts to tighten U.S. entry standards, citing security concerns and the recent arrest of an Afghan national accused of shooting two National Guard troops near the White House two days before Thanksgiving.
