ENTRY POINT HOTELS & Resorts will develop the 156-key Holiday Inn Raipur in Naya Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. The hotel is expected to open in the first quarter of 2031.

Naya Raipur is Chhattisgarh’s planned capital, with growing government, commercial, IT, education and infrastructure activity. The hotel will be in Sector 24, near government complexes, public sector units, Mantralaya, Vidhan Sabha and Swami Vivekananda Airport, IHG Hotels & Resorts said in a statement.

It will have a restaurant, bar and lobby lounge, along with 942 square meters of meeting and event space, including a 715-square-meter ballroom.

“As the city continues to develop as a key administrative and commercial center, the signing presents an opportunity to introduce one of our most recognized brands to a market with diverse travel needs,” said Sudeep Jain, IHG’s managing director for South West Asia.

Separately, Vrindam Developers will develop the 130-key voco Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh.
