- Hilton signed YOTEL to join Select by Hilton.
- YOTEL keeps management of its 23 hotels in 10 countries.
- Hotels will be bookable through Hilton channels in 2026.
HILTON WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS is bringing YOTEL, a hotel brand with modular, tech-enabled rooms, into its Select by Hilton platform. The first hotels will be bookable through Hilton channels later in 2026.
Select by Hilton is designed to expand Hilton’s network, offering guests new ways to stay while providing access to Hilton Honors and Hilton’s distribution and technology platforms, Hilton said in a statement. Hotel brands joining Select will retain their identities and management.
YOTEL will be the first independent brand in the new Select platform, the statement said. It will continue to manage and license its 23 hotels in 10 countries, aiming to more than triple its portfolio.
“The addition of YOTEL to Hilton’s network is the latest example of our commitment to capital-efficient growth through a relationship that complements our existing brand portfolio and offers guests new ways to stay in key urban locations,” said Christian Charnaux, Hilton’s executive vice president and chief development officer. “This agreement further strengthens our network by connecting an independent brand like YOTEL to Hilton Honors while preserving what makes the brand unique.”
YOTEL, launched in London in 2007, is led by Co-founder and Chairman John Notter. It has expanded to New York, Miami, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Glasgow and Singapore, the statement said. Its rooms feature the YOTEL SmartBed, which converts from bed to sofa at the touch of a button, and automated luggage storage.
Phil Andreopoulos, YOTEL CEO, said Hilton brings global distribution and loyalty scale to the brand.
“YOTEL’s relationship with Hilton allows us to expand our reach while staying true to who we are. What changes for YOTEL is access—not identity—in a capital-light and scalable way,” he said.
Once integrated into Hilton’s network, Hilton Honors members at participating YOTEL properties will have access to benefits.
Hilton recently launched the Hilton AI Planner, a generative AI concierge that helps travelers explore its hotels and plan stays. The tool uses conversational AI to guide them through booking, including selecting destinations, comparing properties and reviewing amenities.
