HILTON WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS unveiled the Hilton AI Planner, a generative AI concierge that helps travelers explore its hotel portfolio and plan stays. The tool uses conversational AI to guide travelers through the booking process, including choosing destinations, comparing properties and reviewing amenities.

The virtual concierge, now in beta on hilton.com, reflects the growing use of AI for travel planning and highlights the company’s investment in technology to improve the guest experience, Hilton said in a statement. It delivers real-time responses and recommendations beyond search filters. The company will launch it to a small share of site traffic on hilton.com and expand access over time.

“For decades, Hilton has been at the forefront of hospitality innovation—from the Hilton Honors app to the most widely available Digital Key and the industry-first Confirmed Connecting Room,” said Michael Leidinger, senior vice president and chief information officer at Hilton. “The launch of the Hilton AI Planner marks another step forward in our journey to reimagine the travel experience for Hilton guests. This is just the beginning and a preview of where we’re going as we continue to focus on innovation that empowers travelers.”

The introduction of the Hilton AI Planner reflects a test-and-learn approach to generative AI while prioritizing guest usability, the statement said. The company will learn from user behavior and feedback as guests begin using the tool. These insights will guide updates that expand what it can anticipate, streamline and personalize in the booking process.

Hilton reported net income of $298 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31 and $1.461 billion for the full year. Systemwide comparable RevPAR rose 0.5 percent in the fourth quarter and 0.4 percent for the year on a currency-neutral basis compared with 2024.
