HILTON WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS introduced “Apartment Collection” by Hilton, a new lodging category within its collection brand portfolio, offering furnished apartments. The brand will be available for booking through Hilton channels in the first half of 2026, with initial U.S. properties launched in partnership with Placemakr.

The launch allows Hilton to expand its global inventory of about 10,000 apartment-style units by up to 3,000 through Placemakr, the company said in a statement. Hilton expects to grow its apartment-style inventory further in the coming years through this partnership and additional franchise agreements in the multifamily segment.

“Apartment Collection by Hilton represents the next chapter in Hilton’s growth story and the ways we are evolving to meet growing guest demand for this segment of hospitality,” said Chris Nassetta, Hilton’s president and CEO. “With this new brand, we are continuing to pioneer the future of the hospitality industry, giving guests more ways to choose Hilton for every stay, backed by our service and reliability.”

The collection offers studio to four-bedroom furnished apartments for stays ranging from family trips and reunions to extended work trips, the statement said. Each property includes kitchens, separate living areas and on-site laundry.

Bao Vuong, Placemakr co-founder and president, said the company is proud to bring its expertise in furnished apartments to the new Hilton brand.

“We’ve pioneered the furnished apartments asset class property by property, stay by stay and continuing that work alongside the world’s most valuable hotel brand is exciting,” he said.

In October, Hilton launched Outset Collection by Hilton, its 25th brand and eighth in the Lifestyle portfolio, aimed at travelers seeking boutique hotels with distinct identities.

Availability and booking

Apartment Collection by Hilton will be open for booking via Hilton.com in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Atlanta in the first half of 2026.

Chris Silcock, Hilton’s president of global brands and commercial services, said the partnership with Placemakr follows an extensive search.

“We’ve long seen the opportunity to deliver hospitality-driven apartment stays—offering accommodations, amenities and connections to local neighborhoods—and Placemakr shares that vision,” he said.

Guests will have access to fitness centers and some properties will include rooftop pools, terraces, communal workspaces and on-site dining and retail, the company said.

Jason Fudin, Placemakr’s co-founder and CEO, said the partnership benefits real estate partners.

“Hilton’s commercial engine and scale will create more value for our partners while accelerating our mission to maximize the value of real estate through flexibility,” he said.

Hilton reported third-quarter net income of $421 million and a global pipeline of over 515,000 rooms.
