HIHOTELS BY HOSPITALITY International added three conversion properties to its portfolio in Louisiana, Texas and New Jersey. The additions came through franchisee referrals.
The properties are two Scottish Inns & Suites in Vinton, Louisiana and Kingwood, Texas, and a Red Carpet Inn & Suites in Maple Shade, New Jersey, hihotels said in a statement.
“These signings demonstrate our commitment to partnering with hotels and owners who share our owner-first philosophy,” said Chris Guimbellot, hihotels’ president and CEO. “Many recent additions were referred by franchisees, underscoring the trust and value we deliver.”
The 45-room Scottish Inns & Suites – Vinton, Louisiana, was formerly Cobblestone Inn & Suites; the 41-room Kingwood, Texas, property was formerly Americas Best Value Inn & Suites and the 48-room Red Carpet Inn & Suites – Maple Shade, New Jersey, was formerly Motel 6, the statement said.
Anil Patel, owner of the new Red Carpet Inn & Suites, said he chose the brand for its decades of stability.
“That means relationships with people we can count on, with no surprises,” he said.
The company offers five economy brands—Scottish Inns, Red Carpet Inn, Master Hosts Inns, Downtowner Inns and Passport Inn—with low fees, transparent operations and direct access to leadership, the statement said. Its model emphasizes support, technology and franchisee retention.
In December, hihotels added three conversion properties: Scottish Inns & Suites in Forney, Texas; Downtowner Inns & Suites in Humble, Texas; and Red Carpet Inn & Suites in Bellmawr, New Jersey.
