- USTA named Davis COO and EVP to lead operations, growth and performance.
- She joined as EVP of business strategy and industry engagement in 2023.
- She restructured operations and grew revenue 37 percent.
Ellen Davis is now chief operating officer and executive vice president of the U.S. Travel Association. She will lead operations, growth and performance while overseeing membership, industry engagement and events, aligning them with the organization’s objectives.
Davis joined USTA as executive vice president of business strategy and industry engagement in 2023, USTA said in a statement. She launched a new membership model, revamped the event portfolio, built industry networks, restructured operations and grew revenue by 37 percent.
“Ellen has been an exceptional leader since joining USTA, and this promotion reflects the impact she has had on our organization and industry,” said Geoff Freeman, USTA president and CEO. “Her ability to unite key stakeholders, strengthen our member value proposition and drive meaningful growth makes her promotion to this expanded role a natural step as we pursue greater value for USTA and our industry.”
Prior to USTA, she held senior roles at the National Retail Federation and the Consumer Brands Association, where she led membership, community and revenue growth.
In December, USTA raised concerns about President Donald Trump’s proposal to expand social media checks for foreign visitors, warning it could reduce visits and spending.
