SANJAYRAJ AND CO. will develop the 145-key DoubleTree by Hilton Rajkot in Gujarat, India. The hotel is expected to open in early 2030.

Rajkot is Gujarat’s fourth-largest city and a major engineering, manufacturing and trade hub with growing demand for branded hotels, Hilton Worldwide Holdings said in a statement. The property will be the brand’s fourth in Gujarat, joining its hotels in Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara.

The hotel will be on Second Ring Road in Rajkot’s emerging commercial district. It will have access to the city’s industrial and business hubs, Rajkot Junction railway station and Rajkot International Airport.

The property will include two restaurants, a spa, fitness center and swimming pool. It will also have around 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 17,400-square-foot ballroom and three meeting rooms.

Swaraj Rajguru, Sanjayraj partner said, Rajkot is one of Gujarat’s fastest-growing commercial and industrial hubs.

“Through our partnership with Hilton, we are introducing one of the world’s most recognized hospitality brands to Rajkot. We believe this collaboration will address the evolving needs of the market while setting a new benchmark for hospitality,” he said.

"The signing of DoubleTree by Hilton Rajkot strengthens our presence in Gujarat and reflects the increasing relevance of internationally branded, full-service hotels in emerging commercial centres,” said Zubin Saxena, Hilton senior vice president and regional head for South Asia.

In July, Roach Lifescapes opened the 221-key Slohh by Roach in Bengaluru, marking Curio Collection by Hilton’s debut in India and South Asia.
