Extended Stay America Select Suites – Sterling is open in Sterling, Colorado. The two-story, 104-room hotel was developed by Colorado Hospitality Services, led by key principal Bruce Rahmani.

The property is near Sterling Regional MedCenter, Sterling City Hall and Northeastern Junior College, as well as employers including BNSF Railway, Union Pacific Railroad and Unisco, ESA said in a statement. The area also includes manufacturers such as Sterling Ethanol LLC and Sterling Component Systems.

“Our goal is to provide guests with a place to stay that feels like home,” Rahmani said. “The Sterling location reflects our commitment to accommodations that meet the needs of today’s extended-stay traveler.”

CHS was founded in 1994, specializes in hotel management, development and real estate investment, CHS said on its LinkedIn page.

The new hotel includes an indoor pool and a recreation room with pool tables, foosball and other games, the statement said.

Mark Williams, ESA’s managing director of franchise development, said the company is growing its Select Suites brand through conversions, offering owners an extended-stay model for long-term travelers.

“The opening of an Extended Stay America Select Suites property in Sterling reflects our focus on markets with year-round extended-stay demand,” he said.

In July, ESA launched “Client Connect,” a business travel platform offering partnerships, discounted rates and simplified booking for extended-stay guests.
