THE AI HOSPITALITY Alliance will hold its inaugural AI Hospitality Summit at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley in San Diego. The event is scheduled for March 1 to 2, 2027.

The program will cover AI’s role in hotel search and booking, including how automated agents handle transactions. It will also address data protection, guest relationships and how hotels can benefit from AI investments.

“Hospitality has an opportunity to shape future technology around the needs of businesses, teams and guests,” said Ira Vouk, AIHA founder and CEO. “We are bringing together people making technology and operating decisions with those developing the technology and conducting research.”

The schedule includes executive discussions, AI labs, demonstrations, workshops, a trade show, a hackathon and a startup competition. Workshop topics will include AI governance, visibility, readiness and direct booking. AIHA is also working with GLOTECH on a parallel academic track and has invited academics to submit research.

The summit will bring hotel decision-makers together with technology developers and researchers working on AI in hospitality. Attendees will include executives from hotel brands, ownership groups and management companies, as well as hoteliers, technology providers, entrepreneurs, investors, consultants and academics.

AlHA’s advisory board includes leaders from IHG Hotels & Resorts, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Aimbridge Hospitality, Sage Hospitality, Choice Hotels International, Amazon Web Services and San Diego State University. Some speakers have been announced, with more expected as the program is finalized.

AIHA and HEDNA’s catalogue identifies 109 AI use cases across 39 hotel systems, with operations accounting for the largest share.
