YAMINI MARKETINGS WILL develop the 92-key voco Resort Kanatal in Uttarakhand, India. The hotel, scheduled to open in 2030, will be managed by United Hospitality Management.

The resort will be in Uttarakhand’s Tehri Garhwal district on the Chamba-Mussoorie route. It will offer access to nearby attractions including Kaudia Forest, Surkanda Devi Temple and Tehri Lake. The property will feature meeting and event spaces, three dining options, a swimming pool, spa, fitness center and kids’ play area, IHG Hotels & Resorts said in a statement.

“India continues to present opportunities for resort development, particularly in destinations where travelers seek shorter breaks, wellness experiences and nature-led stays,” said Sudeep Jain, IHG’s managing director for Southwest Asia. “Kanatal is one such market and voco Resort will strengthen IHG’s presence in the destination.”

Deepika Arora, UHM managing director, said voco Resort is an important addition to UHM’s partnership with IHG and brings the voco brand to a growing destination in India.

“We will combine IHG’s brand standards with UHM’s operational expertise to meet the needs of leisure travelers,” Arora said.

“The destination presents an opportunity as demand for premium resorts, wellness travel and mountain stays continues to grow,” said Yamini, director of Yamini Marketings.

Separately, IHG will develop a 135-key voco Lucknow with Rajdeep Infra & Sales in Uttar Pradesh.
