Modern Super 8 guestroom featuring INNOV8TE 2.0 design with lighter case goods, red accents, and hyper-local headboard art

Wyndham : A Bold Step Forward for Super 8

SUPER 8 BY Wyndham introduced its INNOV8TE 2.0 design package, the next iteration of its Innov8te program, developed in collaboration with owners and design experts. The program, debuting on the brand's 50th anniversary, is designed for today's travelers, featuring updated color schemes, upgraded furniture, new bedding and durable flooring, while also enhancing operational efficiency.

The package, available across the U.S. and Canada, starts at $1,850 per key, excluding freight, tax, and installation, Wyndham said in a statement.

“As we celebrate our 50-year milestone, one thing’s clear: Super 8 is not slowing down,” said Mike Mueller, Super 8 by Wyndham’s president. “Our commitment to innovation has driven us to create INNOV8TE 2.0, which is more than just an upgrade—it’s a bold leap forward. By placing our owners at the center of everything we do, we’re elevating economy with a seamless, easy-to-implement design upgrade that streamlines hotel operations and helps drive success. With Innov8te, we’re not just keeping pace—we’re setting the standard.”

The design features accent pieces, easy-to-clean furniture, resilient flooring and triple-sheeted bedding, the statement said. Beyond aesthetics, the package streamlines housekeeping for more efficient maintenance and uses durable materials to reduce replacement costs.

Upgraded features include:

  • Case goods: New lighter-colored finishes brighten the room and maximize space. Upgrades include a combo unit that integrates the refrigerator, microwave and TV, along with new bedside tables with an open-front design to reduce cleaning time and prevent guests from leaving personal items behind. Furniture arrives fully assembled.
  • Accents: New red desk lamps, seating, and yellow accents incorporate the brand’s classic hues. A new three-hook wall-mounted panel replaces traditional clothes racks with a space-efficient alternative.
  • Window treatments: Roller shades offer an easy-to-clean, simple-to-install and durable solution that enhances energy efficiency by blocking excess sunlight. For those preferring traditional drapes, modern patterns are available to match the room decor.
  • Flooring options: LVT flooring provides easy installation, resistance to stains and scratches, and a streamlined appearance. For carpeting, new gray and charcoal designs are durable and suitable for high foot traffic.
  • Seating: The lounge chair is compact to maximize room space and features vinyl upholstery in red, blending comfort with easy maintenance.
  • Headboard art: The signature black-and-white headboard returns with a pop of yellow and features hyper-local artwork to offer a unique sense of place at each hotel.

Owners can opt for either a complete guestroom upgrade or gradual improvements, the statement said. Through Wyndham’s Manufacturer Direct program, they can independently integrate the program into their hotels, benefiting from cost savings and the ability to select and install elements that meet their needs. For those preferring a traditional renovation approach, Wyndham provides support through its procurement service providers.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts' "Registry Collection" was recently launched in the U.S. with the renovated Mining Exchange hotel in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The 128-room property is managed by Practice Hospitality, led by CEO Bashar Wali.
