Sudharshan Chary is senior vice president of product strategy at Agilysys Inc. He will help hospitality organizations use the Agilysys technology ecosystem.
He will report to President and CEO Ramesh Srinivasan, Agilysys said in a statement.
Chary co-founded Datavision Technologies and was inducted into the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals International Technology Hall of Fame in 2019.
At Datavision, he built data models and a BI platform and served as president, overseeing technology, data and sales, the statement said. He helped hospitality leaders use data and business intelligence to improve operations, increase revenue and enhance service. Otelier acquired the platform in 2022 to expand its hotel performance and analytics capabilities.
“Sudharshan Chary’s energy and commitment to helping hospitality organizations use technology are well-aligned with our mission at Agilysys,” said Srinivasan. “As organizations explore data and emerging AI opportunities, his hospitality expertise and analytics skills will serve our customers and prospects well.”
He will work with Frank Pitsikalis and Rohith Kori, also SVPs of product strategy, to help hospitality organizations maximize the revenue and operational benefits of the Agilysys technology ecosystem, the statement said.
Chary said Agilysys is a technology innovator in hospitality, developing solutions that advance the industry.
“The company collaborates with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that help hospitality leaders achieve their goals,” he said. “I look forward to contributing to the industry as part of this team.”
