SONESTA INTERNATIONAL HOTELS Corp. and Bedside Reading offer guests digital access to e-books and audiobooks at participating Sonesta Hotels, Resorts & Cruises properties. The rollout begins at the following properties:

  • Sonesta Denver Downtown
  • Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach

“Packing a beach read for vacation is a long-standing tradition, but today’s traveler likely isn’t filling their suitcase with paperbacks,” said Elizabeth Harlow, Sonesta’s chief brand officer. “At Sonesta, we know that providing relevant amenities is essential. This collaboration lets us deliver curated audiobooks and e-books to guests as soon as they arrive, making reading a seamless part of every stay.”

The digital amenity gives guests access to more than 100 audiobooks and a range of e-books across multiple genres, including mysteries, memoirs and children’s titles, the duo said in a joint statement. The collection also includes multilingual options, author podcasts and author spotlights.

The library will be updated regularly with new and trending titles.

Jane Ubell-Meyer, Bedside Reading’s founder, said they are pleased to partner with Sonesta to bring the Bedside Reading library to SHR&C properties nationwide.

“From the initial pilot properties to a brand-wide rollout, this partnership marks a significant expansion for Bedside Reading,” he said. “Whether guests are traveling for work or leisure, a book is always a reliable companion and we are excited to provide Sonesta guests with their literary options.”

Sonesta plans to expand the partnership across the SHR&C portfolio in 2026, with in-person events at participating locations, including author signings, speaking engagements, book clubs and book fairs, the statement said.

Noble Investment Group recently acquired a 35-property Sonesta Simply Suites portfolio with over 4,000 rooms, expanding its branded long-term accommodations platform.
