The 129-key dual-brand property includes a 66-suite TownePlace Suites and a 63-room Fairfield. It is in the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter and connected via a corridor to the Miller-Murphy-Howard Conference Center. It is the first Marriott property in the Perry market and the only Marriott hotel within a 15-mile radius, Retreat said in a statement.
“We’re so proud of this hotel—the stunning vision came to life. You have to see it to believe it,” said JJ Singh, Retreat’s president. “We’re grateful for our partnership with the Fairgrounds, the City of Perry, Marriott, and our design and construction partners.”
The Georgia fairgrounds are 100 miles south of Atlanta near Robins Air Force Base. It sees more than one million visitors annually, positioning the hotel to serve both Georgians and international guests, according to the statement.
Recently, the 47-key Signature Inn Merced/Yosemite Parkway, owned by Sonny Patel, opened in Merced, California.
