MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL ADDED the 65-key RESET Hotel in Twentynine Palms, California, to its Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy. RESET is the first new brand to join the portfolio since its September 2025 launch.

The hotel spans 180 acres near the north entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and is Twentynine Palms’ first ground-up hotel development in more than 15 years, Marriott said in a statement. The property features guestrooms with private patios, fire pits, daybeds and stargazing platforms, with architecture integrated into the desert landscape, the statement said.

Amenities include a saltwater pool, jacuzzi, sauna, cold plunge, outdoor soaking tubs, communal fire pits and a desert preserve, the statement said. Programming includes astronomy experiences using Celestron telescopes, events led by former NASA and Jet Propulsion Laboratory astronomers and other destination-focused activities.

RESET joins founding brands Postcard Cabins and Trailborn.

“RESET was created to offer a more thoughtful way to experience the desert, one that brings guests closer to the landscape without competing with it,” said Shannon Ching, RESET cofounder. “Joining Outdoor Collection by Marriott Bonvoy gives us the opportunity to introduce that experience to a broader global audience while preserving the independent vision and sense of place that define the hotel.”

Diana Plazas-Trowbridge, Marriott’s chief lodging product and services officer for the U.S. and Canada, said RESET’s access to Joshua Tree, design and guest experiences made it the kind of property Marriott envisioned for the collection.

Marriott will expand “ICE!,” its Christmas attraction featuring hand-carved ice sculptures, to eight U.S. resorts this holiday season, adding two locations and three themes.
