Red Roof Inn opens in La Marque, TX

The Red Roof Inn La Marque in La Marque, Texas, is now open after a $700,000 renovation. The 150-room property is owned by Kenny Group LLC, led by Jignesh Patel.

The hotel is near historic downtown La Marque, Galveston Island State Park, Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, Gulf Greyhound Park, Texas City Premiere Lux 12+ Cinemas, HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland and Galveston County Fair & Rodeo.


William P. Hobby Airport also is near.

Amenities at the pet-friendly hotel include meeting facilities, a year-round outdoor pool, and an on-site bar and lounge. The hotel also participates in RediRewards and Red Roof's RediClean program for guest and staff safety.

Red Roof recently opened two hotels, including HomeTowne Studios Montgomery-Midtown and HomeTowne Studios Huntsville-Madison in Montgomery and Huntsville, Alabama.

The ordinance will take effect, raising hotel worker wages from the current $22.50 to $25 next year, $27.50 in 2027 and $30 in 2028.
