RADISSON HOTEL GROUP closed 2025 in India with strong growth in development, operations and brand engagement, achieving its highest Global Review Index score. The company added 33 hotel signings and expanded into 11 new metro, leisure and emerging destinations.
RevPAR rose 6 percent and ADR grew 7 percent, driven by rate strategy and higher occupancy, boosting profitability for hotel owners, RHG said in a statement.
“Our record GRI score reflects the trust of guests, the confidence of owners and the dedication of our teams,” said Nikhil Sharma, RHG’s managing director and COO for South Asia. “As we enter 2026, our focus is clear — scale with intention, deliver meaningful experiences and create sustained value for guests, owners and communities.”
Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR led business travel demand, while leisure destinations such as Lonavala and Udaipur saw growth in weddings and MICE, the statement said. RHG’s regional expansion included new signings in Delhi NCR, Mount Abu, Goa, Rajkot, Bhuj, Ranchi and Bengaluru, along with seven conversions that accelerated time-to-market and increased owner value.
The company expanded its experiential platforms, including Literary Escapes and Art of Weddings, and strengthened sports partnerships with the Neeraj Chopra Classic and Bengaluru Football Club, RHG said. A 35 percent rise in direct bookings on RH.com reflected digital growth driven by improved merchandising and rate optimization.
Davashish Srivastava, RHG’s senior director of development for South Asia, said the company focuses on markets where its brands add the most value, particularly tier-II and leisure destinations.
“Entering 11 new destinations this year has expanded our footprint,” he said.
RHG aims to operate more than 150 hotels in India by 2026 through flexible franchise models, strategic conversions and growth in tier-II, tier-III, religious and wellness destinations, the company said. With a portfolio of more than 200 hotels in operation and development, RHG continues to expand in Delhi NCR and consolidate its position as one of India’s largest international hotel networks.
Radisson aims to double its India portfolio to 500 hotels by 2030, opening nearly two properties a month amid improving infrastructure, connectivity and growing travel demand.
