Peachtree contracts with HOS Management to operate nine hotels

PEACHTREE HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT entered into a long-term contract with Savannah, Georgia-based HOS Management to operate nine hotels. The hotels are primarily in the Southeast and are Marriott, Hilton and IHG branded.

PHM will manage hotel operations in compliance with hotel brand standards, scalable operating efficiencies, digital and market initiatives and other cost saving across the portfolio, according to Peachtree. PHM is part of Atlanta-based Peachtree Group, led by Jatin Desai and Mitul Patel as managing principals.

"We have a wealth of experience managing hotels and providing best-in-class operations for our valued partners like HOS Management, who have entrusted us with their hotel operations," said Patrick Short, PHM president. "With 25 percent of our portfolio third-party managed, we are committed to protecting the assets value and driving bottom lines results for our partners while providing an outstanding experience for our hotel guests."

“These hotels mark the first of hopefully many more fruitful endeavors with HOS Management,” Short said. “We are thrilled hotel owners recognize the breadth and depth of experience our coast-to-coast team brings to the table and our record of revenue management performance.”

The hotels include the 132-room Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Midtown; the 120-room Hampton Inn & Suites Savannah Midtown; and the 101-room Cambria Hotel Savannah Downtown Historic District, all in Savannah. It also includes the 113-room Four Points by Sheraton Brunswick; the 97-room Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton; and the 93-room Courtyard by Marriott, all in Brunswick, Georgia. Finally, there are the 116-room Home2 Suites by Hilton Baton Rouge Citiplace in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; the 99-room Home2 Suites by Hilton Flower Mound in Flower Mound, Texas; and the 82-room Holiday Inn Express in St. Augustine, Florida.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Peachtree, and we have been pleased with the onboarding process, and the overall attention Patrick's team has provided us. With significant experience with the major hotel brands, this partnership with Peachtree will serve us well as we grow our hotel portfolio," said Kris Patel, president of HOS.

PHM, a division of Peachtree Group, operates branded, limited, select and compact full-service hotels primarily in the upper-midscale and upscale segments. At present, it manages 87 hotels across 25 brands with 10,496 rooms in 22 states.

With this partnership, PHM's third-party operations will increase to 23 hotels in nine states.

Last October, Peachtree Group appointed Natalie Robinson as vice president of people and culture.

ICE Reverses Decision to Pause Raids on Key Industries

U.S. IMMIGRATION OFFICIALS have reversed enforcement limits at hotels, farms, restaurants and food processing plants days after issuing them, following conflicting statements by President Donald Trump, according to Reuters. ICE leadership told field office heads on Monday it would withdraw last week's directive that paused raids on those businesses.

ICE officials were told a daily quota of 3,000 arrests—10 times the average last year under former President Joe Biden—would remain in effect, two former officials said in the report. ICE field office heads raised concerns they could not meet the quota without raids at the previously exempted businesses, Reuters reported, citing a source.

However, it was not clear why the directive was reversed.
