New Delhi-based OPO is led by Founder and Managing Director Amit Kumar Singh and CEO Sandeep Basu.

“Khatu Shyam Ji holds deep emotional and spiritual significance for millions of devotees across the country,” said Basu. “With OPO Horizon Surbhi Grant, our intent is to offer a stay that is respectful, comfortable and dependable during what is often a deeply personal journey for our guests.”

As pilgrimage tourism grows, Khatu Shyam Ji represents a market with year-round demand driven by faith-based travel and regional connectivity, according to the company.

Basu said the company is planning hotels in locations with year-round demand where a well-run hotel can add value to the traveler’s experience.
