Patrick O’Neil is president of Vision Hospitality Group, effective Jan. 21. He oversees day-to-day operations across the company’s portfolio and works with executive leadership to support long-term strategic objectives.
O’Neil, who joined Vision in March 2022, was serving as chief operating officer, leading operations and team development, Vision said in a statement. The Chattanooga, Tennessee-based firm is led by founder and CEO Mitch Patel.
“Patrick has been a leader and trusted partner since joining Vision,” said Patel. “His operational expertise, disciplined approach and commitment to our people have made an impact across our organization. Promoting Patrick to president reflects our confidence in his ability to lead Vision through its next phase of growth.”
He will also oversee property operations, implement performance initiatives and align operational strategy with the company’s growth plans, the statement said. Vision manages a portfolio of more than 42 hotels affiliated with Hilton Worldwide Holdings, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corp. and IHG Hotels & Resorts.
O’Neil said he is honored to assume the role of president and continue working with Vision’s teams.
“This organization has a strong foundation and I look forward to building on that momentum by supporting our associates, delivering value for our partners and ensuring our properties continue to perform,” he said.
The American Hotel & Lodging Association named Liam Brown, Marriott International’s group president for the U.S. and Canada, as chair for 2026, succeeding Patel.
