- It acquired the property, formerly The Beeman Hotel, in October 2024.
- Coury Hospitality manages the 296-key property.
Hotel Mockingbird is open in the Park Cities neighborhood of Dallas. The nine-story, 296-key Marriott Tribute Portfolio hotel, owned by NewcrestImage, underwent renovation and rebranding.
The property is near Mockingbird Station, Highland Park Village, Love Field, Southern Methodist University, Cotton Bowl Stadium, American Airlines Center and Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, NewcrestImage said in a statement. The hotel also includes 12,000 square feet of meeting space.
NewcrestImage acquired the property, formerly The Beeman Hotel, in October 2024 and will be managed by Coury Hospitality. Dallas-based NewcrestImage is led by CEO and managing partner Mehul Patel, while Irving-based Coury Hospitality is led by CEO Paul Coury.
“Today’s travelers want more than a hotel stay; they expect an experience and the Mockingbird delivers,” Patel said. “The renovation has improved guest satisfaction and performance by making the hotel more relevant.”
Coury said the company’s decisions as property manager focus on delivering value for guests, the local community and ownership partners.
“We position the Mockingbird as the living room for the community and lead with food and beverage to drive engagement,” he said.
In August, NewcrestImage acquired the 176-key, five-story NYLO Dallas Plano in Dallas and plans to renovate and rebrand it within the Tapestry Collection.
