Marriott Bonvoy’s Westin Hotels & Resorts opened its first Jaipur property, The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa, marking Marriott’s 200th property in India.

The Westin Jaipur Kant Kalwar Resort & Spa is now open in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The 135-key property, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s 30-brand portfolio, is Marriott International’s first in Jaipur and its 200th in India.

The property, spread across nine acres at the base of the Aravalli range, features villas with private plunge pools and gardens, and combines Balinese-inspired architecture with Jaipur artistry, Marriott said in a statement.


“Celebrating the opening of our 200th property in India is a defining moment for Marriott International and reflects the trust our guests and owners place in our brands,” said Kiran Andicot, Marriott’s senior vice president, South Asia. “Our growth in India has been shaped by hotels that provide enriching experiences through distinctive design, culinary programs, and service excellence. This achievement also demonstrates the resilience of the Indian hospitality sector and the demand across leisure and business segments.”

Accommodations include a fitness studio, sports courts and jogging trails support active routines. Four dining venues—Harvest, Ira, Haven Bar & Coffee Lounge and Pool Bar—use local produce and global techniques in a farm-to-fork approach.

Heavenly Spa by Westin offers natural therapies and restorative treatments, alongside event spaces, lawns and ballrooms for corporate gatherings and weddings. The Westin Family Kids’ Club and cultural experiences like Rangilo Aangan provide connection for families and leisure travelers.

India is among Marriott’s top three markets, with 200 hotels and nearly 150 projects across 18 brands. The company is expanding in metro cities, leisure hubs and emerging corridors, offering digital access via its Hindi website.

In November, Marriott launched “Series by Marriott” in India with 26 properties from The Fern portfolio.

PRISM’s CHECKIN LAUNCHED a pet-friendly program allowing guests to stay with pets at no extra cost across all SUNDAY Hotels. The company piloted pet-friendly offerings in select locations and reported higher repeat bookings and longer stays among guests traveling with pets.

SUNDAY Hotels have trained on-property teams to welcome pets as part of the guest party, PRISM said in a statement. The initiative includes pet kits with bowls, waste bags and a toy ball at select hotels, as well as marked pet-friendly zones and neighborhood recommendations for local pet services such as walkers, groomers and vets.
