Wei Manfredi is now IHG Hotels & Resorts’ senior vice president for AI and architecture. She will oversee the company’s AI strategy and its technical and data architecture.
Manfredi will foster partnerships with technology organizations to guide IHG’s AI approach, ensuring it is effective, responsible and secure, IHG said in a statement. She most recently served at McDonald’s as vice president of global architecture, data and generative AI.
“Wei has a proven track record of leading AI-driven strategies for global brands,” said Jolie Fleming, IHG’s chief product and technology officer. “Her appointment reflects our commitment to responsible innovation: supporting our owners, optimizing operations and engaging guests in new ways. We’re excited to build on this momentum and shape the future of hospitality together.”
Manfredi also worked at Google Cloud, Lululemon and Visa and served on technology boards, the statement said. AIM Media House named her one of the 100 most influential AI leaders in the U.S. in 2025. Separately, Rethink Retail named her one of Retail’s Top AI Leaders in 2026.
In September, IHG appointed Jaideep Dang as head of development for South West Asia to lead growth in the region.
