Hyatt Studios Huntsville is now open in Huntsville, Alabama. The 120-key property is the second in the state for developer 3H Group, which opened the first Hyatt Studios in Mobile earlier this year.
Property amenities include a 24/7 market, EV charging stations, a fitness studio and an outdoor patio with a firepit and grill. The hotel, near Huntsville International Airport, also offers 623 square feet of meeting space for up to 15 guests.
The property is managed by LBA Hospitality of Dothan, Alabama, which operates more than 115 hotels in the Southeast, Hyatt said in a statement.
Chattanooga, Tennessee–based 3H is led by President and CEO Hiren Desai.
Hyatt Studios is part of Hyatt’s Essentials Portfolio, which also includes Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, Caption by Hyatt, Hyatt Select and Unscripted by Hyatt. The brand provides a home-like experience for extended-stay travelers while maintaining efficient operations and consistent design standards.
"Developing the world’s first two Hyatt Studios hotels has only deepened our confidence in what this brand represents,” said Desai. “The Hyatt Studios brand meets a real need in the extended-stay segment by offering guests a home-like environment grounded in comfort and quality. With Hyatt’s collaboration and strong brand leadership, we’re proud to continue growing our ownership footprint in more markets across the Southeast.”
Beau Benton, president of LBA, said the Hyatt Studios expansion into Huntsville benefits both the collaboration with 3H and the local market.
"This city continues to outpace national trends in economic development and adding an extended-stay Hyatt hotel gives businesses and travelers a new option that supports Huntsville’s growth," he said.
“Hyatt Studios Huntsville delivers an upper-midscale extended-stay experience that blends comfort, functionality, and modern design for today’s business and leisure travelers,” said Jason Ballard, Hyatt’s Essentials Portfolio Global Brand Leader. “Our collaboration with 3H Group and LBA Hospitality continues to drive the Hyatt Studios brand, and we’re grateful for their leadership and dedication.”
3H is expanding its Hyatt portfolio in underserved and emerging markets following the opening of Hyatt Studios Mobile/Tillmans Corner earlier this year, the statement said. Planned openings include a Caption by Hyatt in Chattanooga, Tennessee—its first Hyatt-branded hotel in that market—along with additional projects across the Southeast.
The company recently acquired and renovated Hyatt Place Tampa Airport/Westshore and is developing dual-brand Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties in East Nashville, Tennessee, along with a Hyatt Studios hotel in Jacksonville, Florida.
