Hyatt and Groups360 plan to launch instant group booking in early 2026.
The integration gives planners real-time room and meeting-space rates.
Planners can use GroupSync Marketplace to submit RFPs for select Hyatt properties.
HYATT HOTELS CORP. and Groups360 plan to launch instant group booking in early 2026 by adding Hyatt properties to the latter’s GroupSync Marketplace, a platform for real-time group bookings. The integration will let meeting planners see real-time room and meeting-space rates and availability.
The direct connection between Hyatt systems and GroupSync enables organisers to book guestrooms, event spaces, catering and audiovisual services in one online transaction, the companies said in a statement. Planners also can submit an RFP through GroupSync for larger or complex events.
“As one of the leaders in the hotel industry putting this technology into widespread practice, we are meeting event planners where they are in this evolving industry,” said Steve Enselein, Hyatt's senior vice president for events. “We are demonstrating our commitment to their needs and to the success of their events by offering our Together by Hyatt platform. By offering instant group booking through GroupSync, we will equip planners with the insight and flexibility they need to tailor the ideal stay experience for each group.”
Tennessee-based Groups360 provides group booking and event management solutions for the hospitality industry through its GroupSync platform, which lets meeting planners search, compare, and book hotel rooms and meeting spaces in real time.
Currently, planners can use GroupSync to submit RFPs for select Hyatt properties, the statement said. Starting in early 2026, participating hotels will also offer instant online booking, expanding GroupSync’s inventory to more destinations.
With Hyatt’s addition, meeting and event organisers will have more options for real-time booking across 32,000 cities, including the top 50 group travel destinations, the companies said.
A recent IDeaS study found that only 54 percent of hoteliers use integrated tools, despite agreement on the need for unified systems. Meanwhile, 89 percent plan new AI applications, with the “augmented hotelier” emerging through chatbots, mobile check-in and AI-driven decision support.
Nightfood Holdings plans to acquire two hotels in California worth $80M.
Hotels will feature AI-powered service robots.
The strategy combines automation revenue with real estate growth.
NIGHTFOOD HOLDINGS PLANS to acquire two hotels in California to test the use of AI-driven robots in guest services. The company also announced plans for a broader tech-integrated portfolio.
The company has signed a letter of intent to acquire a 155-room Holiday Inn in Victorville, California, for approximately $27 million, with plans to convert it into a Courtyard by Marriott. A second deal is underway for a Hilton Garden Inn in Rancho Mirage, valued around $24.5 million. The two properties represent an estimated $80 million in assets.
Both Victorville and Rancho Mirage properties will serve as operational testbeds for automation and future revenue optimization. The Rancho Mirage hotel sits adjacent to Disney’s upcoming Cotino resort project.
Nightfood Holdings combines hotel ownership with Robotics-as-a-Service through its Skytech subsidiary. The company plans to deploy guest-facing robots for food delivery, laundry transport and concierge functions, along with back-end automation for cleaning and operations. Robots will be integrated into its own properties and eventually licensed to third-party hotel operators.
"We're pairing recurring RaaS income with long-term real estate value creation," the company stated. "These flagship hotels will serve as model environments for automation deployment and performance tracking."
Nightfood has also partnered with Bear Robotics to expand its automation capabilities across the portfolio.
The strategy targets cost reduction, operational efficiency and enhanced guest experience. Industry reports project 30 to 40 percent cost savings from hotel automation, with AI in hospitality expected to grow to $1.46 billion by 2029. The global hospitality robotics market is forecasted to reach $107 billion by 2034.
Recently, Vision Hospitality Group deployed its AI-driven procure-to-pay platform across more than 40 properties, aiming to automate accounts payable processes.
