Hotel Equities and Pinnacle Hotel Group Unite for Growth in 2025

HOTEL OWNER, OPERATOR and developer Hotel Equities is working with Little Rock, Arkansas-based Pinnacle Hotel Group, integrating Pinnacle’s hotel portfolio and development pipeline into HE’s management platform effective May 1. The collaboration expands on HE’s existing role managing the AC Hotel by Marriott Kansas City Downtown, co-owned by Pinnacle.

Alpharetta, Georgia-based Hotel Equities is led by President and CEO Brad Rahinsky, while Pinnacle is led by Principals Chet Patel, Rocky Govind, Shawn Govind and Nayan Nagin.

“Our team is honored to welcome Pinnacle to the HE family,” said Rahinsky. “We’ve had the privilege of witnessing Pinnacle’s leadership firsthand through our collaborations over recent years, and their track record speaks for itself. With a foundation of trust, shared values, and a unified vision for long-term success, we look forward to strengthening this relationship and achieving great things together.”

Pinnacle has developed and operated hotels across Marriott International, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, and InterContinental Hotels Group brands in key markets, the companies said in a joint statement. The company sought a management partner with the scale and resources to support its portfolio and create career opportunities as it grew.

Chet Patel said choosing a management partner required aligning with a company that shares Pinnacle’s passion for hospitality and can support its long-term growth.

“Hotel Equities offers a scalable future, and we’re confident this partnership will drive meaningful results for our hotels, associates, and guests while creating new career growth opportunities for our team members,” he said.

The transition began with a recent town hall meeting, giving associates an open forum for Q&A and dialogue, the statement said. The HE team views this as a key step to setting the stage for long-term success and ensuring clear communication before the May 1 transition.

“We take great pride in exceeding expectations—both for our guests and our ownership partners," said Al Smith, HE’s president of hotel operations. "We are eager to bring our support, proven strategies, and added resources to Pinnacle’s hotels, ensuring they achieve peak performance and deliver exceptional hospitality.”

Meanwhile, Dothan, Alabama-based LBA Hospitality recently took over management of Georgia-based Sai Hospitality Management Co.'s five hotels in Georgia and Florida as of March.
