Hideaway Inn Lenox is now open in Lenox, Massachusetts, marking the brand’s first franchise agreement. The 24-room hotel, developed by Hideaway Inn, is managed by Revival Hotels.
The hotel is in downtown Lenox near Tanglewood Music Center and the Berkshires, with access to concerts, skiing, mountain biking and seasonal festivals, Hideaway Inns said in a statement. It is less than two hours from Boston and Hartford and under three hours from New York City.
It is the brand’s third property, opening less than six months after its first in Mt. Sunapee, New Hampshire, the statement said.
Hideaway Inns and Revival Hotels are led by Founding Partner and CEO Saxton Sharad.
“We created Hideaway Inns to fill a gap in the market, giving travelers convenient access to destinations they love but in places that big brands often overlook,” said Sharad. “With a focus on thoughtful design, fun social spaces and frictionless technology, we are building something different. Unlike our first properties, which are located at the base of ski resorts, the Lenox property continues to set the tone for the brand in a new way and it is the perfect location for us to extend Hideaway Inns and showcase its regional diversity. With six properties slated to open by the end of the year and 30 over the next five years, this is only the beginning.”
The living room includes a vinyl library, board games and a fireplace in a BYOB setting. The Commons offers indoor recreation with ping pong, game tables, and foosball. Guests also have access to a coworking space, Work From Hideaway.
Three Hideaway Inn properties are under development in Killington, Vermont; Sugar Hill, New Hampshire and Dennis Port, Massachusetts, with more openings planned by the end of 2026. The brand targets regional markets in the Northeast and other underserved destinations.
In December, Hideaway Inns opened the 27-room Hideaway Inn Mt. Snow in Dover, Vermont, near Mount Snow.
