In his new role, Gupta will lead BHVL’s team and oversee its operations and growth, the company said in a statement.
Gupta previously worked with InterGlobe Hotels & Accor, where he led the transformation and repositioning of a 22-hotel portfolio. At SAMHI, he oversaw more than 25 hotels in India, with Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels Corp. and IHG Hotels & Resorts as brand partners. His earlier roles included general manager positions in India and Australia with Hilton, Accor and Mirvac, as well as leadership roles in the UAE, UK and Australia.

Him coming back as CEO is a full circle moment for us.”
Gupta said he was honored to be part of an organization with a clear vision for the future.
“Our main focus will be to deliver a world-class hospitality experience while catering to the evolving needs of our guests and the market,” Gupta said.
In May, BHVL outlined a $106 million investment in Karnataka and plans to add 1,700 rooms over five years.
