Fairfield opens in Riverview, Florida

It is owned by Singh Japinder’s Riverview Hotels & Resorts LLC

The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Tampa Riverview is now open in Riverview, Florida. It is owned by Riverview Hotels & Resorts LLC led by manager Singh Japinder and managed by Naples Hotel Group of Naples, Florida.

The 108-room hotel is near James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Topgolf and Bass Pro Shops. Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and 512 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 40 people.


“The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Tampa Riverview is a truly stunning example of the brand’s contemporary look and feel, and we are pleased to introduce Fairfield by Marriott hotels in the Riverview area,” said Janis Milham, Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader, Classic Select Brands at Marriott International.

The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Camarillo in Camarillo, California, owned and managed by Plantation Bay Hotels of Irvine, California, led by Suresh Jhunjhnuwala as CEO and Rajat Jhunjhnuwala as president, opened last week.

Report: Holiday travel up, average trips down

MORE THAN HALF of Americans plan to travel between Thanksgiving and early January for the first time in at least five years, according to a Deloitte survey. However, the average number of trips dropped to 1.83 from 2.14 last year.

Deloitte’s “2025 Holiday Travel Survey” reported that the average planned holiday travel budget is down 18 percent to $2,334. More travelers plan to stay with friends or family rather than book hotels or rentals.
