Moxy Atlanta Downtown is now open near Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta. The 183-room hotel was developed by Nexera Capital and Emerge Hospitality Group.
The hotel, managed by LBA Hospitality, is near Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola. It aims to become a social hub in downtown Atlanta, EHG said in a statement.
EHG, based in Tennessee, is led by President and CEO Sachin Patel, while Nexera, based in Georgia, is led by Founder Pete Patel. LBA, based in Alabama, is led by President Beau Benton.
“Atlanta is a city that knows how to have fun, and Moxy Atlanta Downtown was built with that same spirit in mind,” said Sachin Patel. “We’re excited to introduce a concept that blends hospitality, nightlife and design into one destination in the heart of downtown.”
Pete Patel said they are proud to partner with EHG to bring the project to Atlanta.
“Moxy Atlanta Downtown reflects the kind of experience-driven development we believe in,” he said.
Bobby Patel, Nexera’s executive vice president of development, said the project reflects the firm’s focus on hospitality destinations.
In February, Bruce Rahmani-led Colorado Hospitality Services opened the 104-room Extended Stay America Select Suites in Sterling, Colorado.
