Best Western opens two new properties in Texas

Best Western North Side Inn in Wichita Falls and Best Western SeaWorld San Antonio are now open in Texas. The North Side Inn, owned by Nitin Chanana, offers 94 guestrooms, while the San Antonio property, owned by Aman Patel, features 70 guestrooms and 12 suites, Best Western said in a statement.

“After a complete renovation, we are excited to welcome guests to our hotel, with recent updates that keep both leisure and business travelers in mind,” said Harry Patel, Best Western North Side Inn’s general manager. “With our convenient location that provides quick access to the best of Wichita Falls, the Best Western North Side Inn offers something for everyone.”


The North Side Inn features a fitness center, a meeting room for up to 25 people, business center services, and an outdoor lounge, Best Western said. The hotel is located near Sheppard Air Force Base, downtown Wichita Falls, the Wichita Falls Multi-Purpose Event Center, and Midwestern State University.

The Best Western SeaWorld San Antonio hotel recently completed a $1.5 million renovation," the statement said. "The hotel, offering a fitness center, outdoor pool, and business center, is located near San Antonio Zoo, Alamo Plaza, and the San Antonio River Walk.

“We cannot wait to welcome guests to our property so they can fully experience the new amenities and exciting upgrades,” said Patel, the hotel’s owner. “The property is not only an ideal location for travelers looking for a home base when visiting SeaWorld in San Antonio, but also for everything else the city has to offer.”

BWHSM Hotels includes WorldHotels, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, and SureStay Hotels, totaling 4,500 hotels in more than 100 countries. It offers 19 brands spanning from economy to luxury.

In February, Best Western opened three properties: SureStay Plus by Best Western Corydon in Corydon, Indiana; Best Western Plus Heritage Rail Inn & Suites in York, Pennsylvania; and SureStay by Best Western in Huntsville University AreaAlabama.

CoStar: Hotel construction drops in June
