Milan opens AC Hotel in Asheville, NC

North Carolina-based Milan Hotel Group recently opened the 127-key AC Hotel by Marriott in Asheville, North Carolina’s Biltmore Village.

The AC Hotel by Marriott Asheville Biltmore Village in Asheville, North Carolina, is now open. The property is owned and operated by Milan Hotel Group, led by President and CEO Monark Patel.


The renovated property, located near Biltmore Estate, features 127 guestrooms, including 57 with private balconies and 34 suites, Milan said in a statement.

“We’re honored to bring a fresh take on hospitality to Biltmore Village and contribute to its continued growth,” said Patel. “This opening represents our team’s commitment to elevating the guest experience in Asheville and beyond.”

The hotel offers 2,850 square feet of meeting and event space, including the Magnolia Ballroom, which can be divided into three sections and a 1,000-square-foot pre-function area connected to an outdoor patio, recommended for receptions and social gatherings, Milan said. All spaces are equipped with integrated A/V and projection systems.

Amenities include an indoor pool with whirlpool spa, a 24-hour fitness center and the AC Lounge, the statement said. Guests have access to three outdoor patios and on-site parking.

Sagemont Hotels, led by President and CEO Hiral Patel, recently opened the five-story, 128-room Homewood Suites by Hilton in Fremont, California.
