- Red Roof named Tim Lipka SVP of operations, effective immediately.
- The company promoted Shanna Wright to SVP of commercial strategy.
- They will be based at its corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Tim Lipka is Red Roof’s senior vice president of operations and Shanna Wright is senior vice president of commercial strategy. Lipka will develop strategies for the franchise operations department to meet brand standards.
He was vice president of brand performance at G6 Hospitality and previously spent more than 25 years in operations roles in the hospitality and food industries, the company said in a statement. He will also help achieve financial and business objectives and improve operating performance.
“Tim Lipka brings experience in brand leadership, franchise development and operations to his role as senior vice president of operations,” said Zack Gharib, Red Roof’s president. “Tim is passionate about joining Red Roof’s management team and optimistic about the future of our brand. His expertise and entrepreneurial spirit will play an important role in working with our franchisees and properties.”
In her role, Wright will lead the marketing and distribution departments to improve efficiency and drive growth. She previously served as vice president of distribution services.
Gharib said Tim’s appointment and Shanna’s promotion underscore the depth of the leadership team.
“I am looking forward to their impact on the business,” he said.
Lipka will relocate to Red Roof’s corporate headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, where Wright is also based.
Red Roof recently adopted Sojern’s AI concierge to automate guest interactions and support front-line operations.
