Summary:

  • Hilton topped the “World’s Best Workplaces 2025” list by Fortune and Great Place to Work.
  • More than 90 percent of team members say Hilton offers learning and growth opportunities.
  • Nearly 80 percent of consumers prefer companies that care for their employees.

HILTON WORLDWIDE HOLDINGS topped the “World’s Best Workplaces 2025” list by Fortune and Great Place to Work for the second year in a row. The company also released survey findings linking employee experience to consumer behavior and service quality.

The Hilton-commissioned Morning Consult survey found that more than 90 percent of team members see Hilton as a place for learning and growth, while three in four U.S. consumers are more likely to recommend companies that treat employees well.

“This milestone goes beyond rankings – it’s a reflection of who we are and what we’ve always believed: When we take great care of our people, they take great care of our guests,” said Chris Nassetta, Hilton’s president and CEO. “Our 500,000 team members around the world are united by a common purpose that our founder, Conrad Hilton, envisioned over a century ago: To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality. It’s that purpose – and the dedication of our team members – that has made Hilton the best place to work and the best place to stay in the world.”

The Hilton study showed nearly 80 percent of U.S. consumers believe companies that care for employees provide better products and services and nearly 90 percent say this is especially important for travel and hospitality brands. At Hilton, nine out of 10 team members see opportunities to learn and grow, and a similar proportion believe they can achieve their career goals within the company.

Nearly two-thirds of recent hotel and corporate leadership roles were filled internally, with first-time U.S. managers promoted on average within four years. One-third of U.S. team members have been with Hilton for more than a decade and 85 percent report feeling healthy and balanced at work.

Morning Consult conducted two polls for Hilton on consumer attitudes toward companies’ treatment of employees. The first survey, conducted Oct. 27–29, included 2,043 U.S. adults, and the second, conducted Nov. 1–3, 2025, included 2,200.

Expansion creates jobs

Hilton’s global expansion continues to create jobs. Nearly three hotels opened daily over the past year, adding about 20,000 team members worldwide since September 2024. Since 2022, the company has offered more than 2.5 million learning and career growth opportunities through skills training, certifications and language programs. The LAUNCH program is a 24-month early-career rotational program across property and corporate roles.

Hilton team members have access to Hilton University and LinkedIn Learning, offering nearly 30,000 courses and certifications. In the U.S., Guild provides tuition-free opportunities and globally, eligible staff can join Hilton’s Global Language Learning Program. Leadership programs include BetterUp Coaching’s Manage, Team Member Mentoring through MentorcliQ, People Leader Essentials and GM Academy for current and aspiring hotel general managers.

Laura Fuentes, Hilton’s CHRO, said that as the No. 1 Best Workplace, a culture focused on growth and opportunity creates both careers and guest experiences.

“By building a culture where team members feel seen, welcomed and part of something greater than themselves, we’re empowering our team members to deliver service and drive our business forward,” she said.

Hilton offers benefits supporting employee well-being. More than 90 percent of team members said Hilton provides programs such as Go Hilton, Thrive Sabbatical and Thrive Reset, which include paid time off and financial support for personal development or service projects.

In July, Hilton received the “India's No. 1 Company to Work For” award from Great Place to Work for the second consecutive year, based on a survey of over 5 million employees across 1,750 Indian organizations.
