Cua is VP of business development for Peachtree Hotel Group

He will oversee expansion of the company’s third-party management contracts

Jamey Cua is the new vice president of business development for Peachtree Hotel Group’s hotel operations and management division. Cua will oversee expansion of the Atlanta-based company’s third-party management partnerships.

Peachtree Hotel Group is led by Managing Principals Mitul Patel and Jatin Desai and CEO Greg Friedman.


Prior to joining Peachtree, Cua was senior vice president for third-party managed development at Sage Hospitality. Before that he served as vice president of development for Marriott, International, Inc., and senior director of development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

He has a master’s degree in business administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and a bachelor’s degree in pre-med and sports medicine from Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.

“There is a great deal of potential with this platform,” said Cua. “The Peachtree Hotel Management team is ready to provide creative management solutions.”

“Having worked with Jamey in the past, I know he brings the full package to the position—industry-wide contacts, a deep understanding of third-party management and the ability to connect with people almost instantaneously,” said Brent LeBlanc, Peachtree Hotel Group’s executive vice president since February.

Who Is Kevin Carey, New AHLA Foundation CEO in 2025?

KEVIN CAREY, CHIEF operating officer and senior vice president of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, is now president and CEO of AHLA Foundation. He will remain AHLA’s chief operating officer while succeeding Anna Blue, who announced her departure in February after two years.

The announcement follows the Foundation’s Night of a Thousand Stars fundraiser, which gathered more than 400 industry leaders and raised more than $1 million for its initiatives, AHLA said in a statement.
